According to moon sighting prediction, the new crescent moon cannot be sighted anywhere in the world on Aug 11th (Sat) evening, and most probably the entire globe can easily sight the new moon on Aug 12th. Therefore, Arafat day (9th) may fall on either Monday, Aug 20th or Tuesday, Aug 21st and Eid will be Tuesday, Aug 21st or Wed Aug 22nd. These are the tentative dates as the actual dates are contingent on the sighting of the moon of Dhul Hijjah.
